I find it highly surprising they didn't reprogram the new cluster, moreso that they just 'didn't know' how to do it with something as critical as an odometer reading. Personally I wouldn't have taken no for an answer on that one.Hi everyone, just got the car back. A few things that I wanted to share:
1. The issue was related to the faulty dashboard/LCD instrument panel. It had to be replaced
2. After submitting the tech-line case this was processed as a warranty case in the dealership
3. Dealership has NOT charged me anything since it is a warranty case (Thank you everyone for confirming this!). They also got me a loaner car (brand new Rogue SUV) for the waiting period. Funny enough, I just needed that for the lake trip over the weekend. hehe..
4. Fun fact: the odometer got reset to 0km with the new dashboard. Neither the dealership nor the Nissan itself knew how to change it back to 2000km. So I've got a 'brand new car' again![]()
