I had my in laws over yesterday so I took the opportunity to use my father in law for help. Time was limited because I also had to grill for dinner. We chose to remove the factory intakes. Video is up now on YouTube (Air Intake Removal) if anyone is interested. On a scale of 1-10 id say its around a 6.5 difficulty. Its one of those jobs that you really need patience. Tight spaces and poor visibility, but the task itself isn't too difficult. An extra hand will go a long way.

Thanks for the tips of it being a pain, having the mindset for it ahead of time helped.

Intercoolers removed (video is up) and installed Z1 Oil Catch Can and Coils today. Project is coming along nicely. Ive changed my Liberty Walk order to the full kit so I will probably be selling my Seibon wing and skirts. If anyone wants them let me know I will sell them a little under my cost + shipping. Or free local pickup in Tampa area.

Fitment is down to preference. I personally like a flush look, that with very mild camber, can be tucked a bit into the wheel wells when lowered on coilovers. This car is still so new I wasnt able to dig up alot of visual reference of different wheels/sizes/offsets. Your best bet is to reach out to Rohana or a reputable wheel retailer that carries their wheels. If you tell them what look you would like they will get you taken care of. They have more first hand experience than anyone.

A lot more content is up on Youtube and I try to post daily on IG. Check them out for more frequent updates.

This past weekend plus Friday I was able to get the factory upper and lower downpipes out, the new full length race catted downpipes in, and the boost logic system fully adjusted and fitted. Man is it an extremely high quality system. It took me, my dad, and even my wifes tiny arms in some places roughly 20 hours to get it done. Even if I had access to a lift I think it would of taken at least 10-12 hours. Doing it on jack stands is obviously doable but I wouldn't recommend it unless you like turning bolts 1/8th turn at a time for 15 minutes to get one bolt out, while laying on you back. If you do go for it, its a fun challenge.

I still have not ordered my wheels because Rohana's time to respond to questions isn't quick, and I keep coming up with more. All currently ordered parts have arrived except the LBWK kit and Swift springs. I also ended up going with the full LBWK vs the partial order I originally made. The original pieces were set to arrive sometime in December, im not sure if adding more will delay that or not.

I hope to have the car fired up by the end of next week. Could be sooner depending on how hurt I am, and if the tuner can get me my base MAP in time.

Swift springs got delayed again so I cancelled and went with coilover. Z1 Motorsports R-Pro’s. Here is a comparison different angles so a little hard to see. If it doesn’t settle much I may drop it another 1/2”

Most recent updates:

First half of the LBWK kit should arrive by the end of this month. Rohana LB Works wheels have been ordered and spec'd to my liking. Z1 Big Turbos and all supporting fuel mods to max them out if wanted. Install by the end of January (hopefully). Waiting on back ordered CHRA's at the moment. Factory intercoolers have been heat treated and turbo housings were juts dropped off for the same. I also have a quite a few Axis CF parts on order.

Turbo housings are coated. Still waiting on my CHRA's and AMS Flex Fuel kit. Got a couple more of my Axis parts. My first ever full sponsorship of Ti Lugs as well from Bulletproof Automotive. If you want to call it that they didnt make me sign any contract. Saved me close to 400 bucks so I was very happy. Sorry I dont have photos of the Turbo housings so its a link to a short instagram video.

If anyone is interested in CF accessories for your Z visit Concept Z Performance or Axis Parts Japan. The parts are high quality and hand made. Concept Z is their official backed U.S distributor. I know they currently have 10 of each item on order. You can contact them and get a preorder link sent to you. It could be a few months before a new batch of parts are ready for shipment to the U.S so act quickly!

I have received some of my items already and after reviewing the quality I can’t help but spread the word.

Latest update: Car is almost finished up with the upgraded turbo install and plethora of little touches to go along with it. My original paint and body person for the wide body install bailed on me. Apparently he didn't take me serious even though I was calling him once a month with updates about the body kits production timeline. In the meantime he booked himself out two years. So im desperately searching for someone in the Tampa area that can get me in to do this work. ZCON is quickly approaching.
