New Member, my 3rd Z

Hello friends,

I just wanted to introduce myself…

I have placed a deposit on a ‘23 Performance Black/ Black 6 MT. This will be my 3rd Z .

I previously owned a 1990 300ZX TT and a 2006 350Z.

I should be picking up my new Z this week as my job and kids have gotten in the way of finding the right time to pick her up.

I attached some pics of my old Z’s and the new one I’ll be picking up.

Unfortunately I did not!

I live on Long Island and my 350Z was totaled in Hurricane Sandy 2012.

I sold my Z32 TT the week after Nissan debuted the Z proto because I instantly fell in love.
But you sir, have quite the collection!!! Love it

Oh man, losing a Z to a hurricane is tough! Hope it was well insured.

My "collection" is going to shrink as soon as I can get the red '93 Z32 past smog. Not enough room in the garage. Its been my daily driver since 2003 (20 years!) but now no space in the garage. I'm really going to miss the T-Tops!

My Z’s treated me well…

Backstory how I fell in love with the Z..

1995- My older brother purchased a Z32 NA and since I looked up to him, I immediately fell in love with the Z32 … everything about it , the lines, the t-tops, the cockpit… LOVE LOVE LOVE…

I told myself, if a new Z ever comes out, I will do what I must to get one…

2006-
I purchased my Z33 brand new. I learned how to tastefully modify it from hanging with friends at the local Z club. The moment I drove a boosted Z, I knew that’s what I wanted to do. I had a turbonetics single turbo kit installed and after about a year or so , I had a Jim wolf twin turbo kit installed. To be honest, I never pushed or abused driving the Z33 because I was terrified of blowing the motor. My wife LOVED my Z33. At this point I say to myself.. “if Nissan ever makes a brand new twin turbo Z, I will do what I must to get one!”

2011- I purchased a 1990 Z32TT. It came modified but was most likely abused. I restored it , spent a ton of dough ,but I hardly drove it. My wife never really liked it and would complain of smelling of fuel or exhaust.

2012- Hurricane Sandy , RIP Z33. I worked a night tour, woke up and felt like i was in the titanic with water waist deep and furniture floating away.

2020- Sold the Z32

2023- Deposit on RZ34! Hoping to pick up on Thursday

I promised my wife I would not modify this Z…

HOWEVER!

She noticed how super quiet this Z is and I think she might budge for a potential exhaust LOL. If i were to do an exhaust I would probably go with a Nismo.
