Speaking of which.... I just bought this guitar! From around 2011, Made in Japan series RR5 Pro. I used to have a Jackson USA RR1T that I NEVER SHOULD HAVE SOLD. So I ended up picking up one of these to fill that void in my soul that was left when I foolishly sold my original one.

Speaking of which.... I just bought this guitar! From around 2011, Made in Japan series RR5 Pro. I used to have a Jackson USA RR1T that I NEVER SHOULD HAVE SOLD. So I ended up picking up one of these to fill that void in my soul that was left when I foolishly sold my original one.

This is what my USA RR1T looked like...

so i had 3 jacksons and 1 charvel. i sold a couple to fund more guitars/gear.

i bought an rr1, black with gold pinstipes & a floyd. then a 90s custom shop soloist with pile-o-skulls (airbrushed...not decal) and a dave mustaine sig king v from a good friend.

the king v played so well i never touched the rhoads. the soloist was far superior to the charvel dinky that i sold them both.

well the last couple years my friend bought or traded to get the king v and soloist back.

now im left with no jacksons and am on the hunt because i need at least one in my life.

thats how i came across the meme...my wife reminds me i still have 25-30 guitars lol

Oooh, which models have you been eyeing?

My first Jackson was a Korean-made budget guitar - A Rhoads Performer PS-37 with a bolt-on neck and Floyd Rose. Had that thing for a long time but eventually sold it. Floyd Roses are fun, but ultimately I prefer a fixed bridge. Still, would be nice to have at least one guitar with a tremolo.

What I'd eventually like to have is an RR1T or similar with a reverse headstock. All black is how I'm envisioning it, but this blood red one w/ flame maple top does look supremely badass:

Oooh, yeah. That's a lot like the RRX24 that I've also been looking at. Even tho I wish this thing were available with a tune-o-matic bridge, if I was to get another guitar with a Floyd, this would be it:

Not really a truck guy but I've got some properties I manage with my parents and we have a truck for it. My dad is big into chevy so back in March I ordered a 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 to upgrade our 2018 Colorado ZR2 truck for them. I became more of a truck guy when I sold my Sentra NISMO in July of 2022 and my Z didnt show up for 9 damn month so had plenty of seat time in the 2018.

this one is a big upgrade but familiar at the same time got pretty decent trade in for the 2018 too.

It came in today! Its got a way better interior and more aggressive front end with actually in person hints of the Camaro with the headlights and ducts below

It's a turbo 2.7 4 cylinder 310HP bad thing is it gets 16 MPG.
