AGREED. MT was the deciding factor on going Z. Yeah, an AT will beat me every day and 2x on Sunday, but I like to feel in control of my RPMs. I'll get an AT when I retire to The Villages in my golf cart.

Same, the MT was a major selling point for me, and the main reason I didn't opt for the Nismo.

I thought the manual in the Z was very good. Still bought the AT, but had the AT been typical junk I would have been very happy with the manual.

Just came back from vacay, Japan, Spain, Portugal, MOST of the cars driven and I see parked are still Manuals, I'd say about 90%. Only large SUVs, taxis, shuttles are Autos. Even some buses are still stick shifted.

Maybe in a straight line but not on a road course - not even close
