Hey guys, While I am waiting for a base Z to add to the fleet I wanted to post here (have been doing this in other forums I am a member of) to extend the message to even more people hoping I can have some luck - I am looking for a ultra low mileage, stock, showroom condition "new" 2004-2007 STI as my ONE collector car that is a trophy piece rather than driven, IF anyone knows of one, or has a friend or acquaintance with one, please let me know. I am willing to pay a large finders fee to get my "dream car"

I couldn't buy one new and it has been a burning desire to have a "new" one to keep since. I have collected thousands of dollars of early 2000s period correct Subaru dealer memorabilia (signs, posters, desk equipment, showroom marketing pieces, etc) So that when I finally find one I can design the portion of my garage it is in to look like a dealer from back when I would go look at them and drool when I was a kid. Yes I am crazy, yes I am willing to pay up big time, and Yes I will make sure whoever helps will be very well compensated! Thanks

Good luck on your search, as you know most of them were modded and driven hard. They and the Evos were the time attack kings years ago. Solid cars and getting rare esp stock ones. I pushed my ‘05 locally here for several years, gone now though.

Thanks, love the old school pic. 05 was the best year for sure

How are you liking your Z? I am considering getting a Z sport to DD. Any complaints or things that you might think would be not so great as a everyday car

Really enjoying my Z stock so far, always have plans, exhaust and swaybars on the way. The new Z is surprisingly refined for the daily stuff. Hey since prices have been lower and somewhat negotiable plus Nissan incentives, I think you should save up just a little more for a Performance, you get lots more content for not that much more $. Actually a great car for DD. Good luck!

Might try one out. Wondering if any super cheap leases are available
