$40k car and you still get a prop rod for the hood. Where is the dual climate? Even the Corolla has dual climate control.

I dunno how most other people feel, but I've never once felt a need for anything more than a prop rod for all the years I've owned and maintained a car.

Prop rod ALL DAY. Keep it simple. Pneumatic hood lifts are just one more thing to fail down the road.

I prefer hood struts but it's really just because I've gotten used to them. However, mine are finally failing at 150k and I found this out the other day when the hood tried to take my head off. I'm glad this was mentioned because it reminded me to order them.

Unless it's a show car or something, if you are having to pop your hood often enough to where struts vs a prop rod really matters, then you probably have more to worry about with that car than whatever they chose for the hood support.

Less PSI for the rear is likely due to wider rear tires.
275x29 ~= 255X32
Cannot infer weight distribution from these numbers.
Psi has nothing to do with wider tires. It has to do with the type of tire (compound and design) and handling characteristics. See example of the Supra. Same tire size, different psi.

Pain in the you know what, my g37 hood struts never held up in the winter LOL, had to carry a wooden stick in the trunk just in case. LOL

I'm not sure.. but from the video the infotainment screen in the Proto looks like an 8 inch? Not sure if its been clarified if the Canadian Z will be getting a 9 inch screen?
Not too sure, but i read somewhere that Canada gets the 8" screen. Same as Autralia

As nice as those things are to have, they hold no sway in the final decision for me. If a car was scored out of 1000, maybe 2 or 3 points for either of those categories while the main categories would be in the hundreds. They just have nothing to do with the overall value proposition of a sports car, I wouldn't say no but it's not what I'm focusing on.

Now, if this was some boring-ass fridge on wheels, it would matter a lot more for sure.

I actually wish my current car didn't have dual climate control since there's no sync button. I never really considered what other people thought about it, but from reading on another forum I'm a little surprised to find that people feel the same way. Had a good laugh as well as it appears that people preferring not to have it at all without sync seems to upset other people for some reason ?

No dual climate control - z32 heritage. ?
My last three cars have duel climate…don’t see the point, in a car this small the air all mingles within 5 minutes anyway.
if you’ve got a big 4WD then sure, otherwise I’m not so sure it matters, and for sure is not a breaking point
