Guys, I just bought a 2025 Sport Z & want to swap out open diff for limited slip from Performance model, is do-able using factory parts??? Wish Nissan would make it std, can't understand why with all having the same motor/tranny combo?

Yes, it is possible to use the performance manual/autos limited slip in the base, if you have a manual get the manual performance diff, if auto do auto. Z1 and nissan's dealers often have the rear assembly on sale.

Are you going to track the car?

I’ve got a sport 6 M/T with an open diff and the traction control takes care of wheel spin. Even when I dump the clutch with my piggy back tuner on race it manages wheel spin. It chirps thru 3rd gear but has never gotten loose. Turn traction control off and it’s a different story.

No, just thought it would handle better.

I just wanted to share what my experience has been. There’s a lot of aftermarket parts available and it’s definitely hard to decide on which ones to get! LOL

If only for street, I’d spend the $$ on suspension parts first, swaybars, springs, to tighten up the handling. The Z will feel much flatter and firm.
