With your stands? Seemed sketchy trusting a flat round thing on the stand saddle

I use this same style rubber adapter. Mine squishes and the jack points does meet with the bottom of the cutout. The padded area does no damage to the side skirts or undercarriage when on jack standsWhat are folks using for Jack stand adapters? Damn pinch welds have like 5mm of clearance for the stand adapters.
Yeah I was going to say that, the plastic skirt bends upwards safely, the rubber pad will squish under weight. One option is to shave a bit off the top of the rubber pad with a sharp object/saw, that will close up the gap a bit.
That’s good to hear. I ended up swinging by HF for some deep wells and picked up the pads anyway, but I’ll keep that in mind since I already have the old ones! Wasn’t sure how much flex that plastic had. Good news for anyone else who finds this later, I suppose
