A lot of people have complained about the system but i quite like it. I'm a massive audiophile, what i cherish most is clarity especially at higher volumes and this provides that in spades. Clear highs, clean mids and the lows/bass is a little underwhelming but not in a bad way. I mean it's there but it's not blowing your windows out either, which is great to me cos I want a good balance so that you get clean sound whether you're listening to bass heavy music or rock/pop or something a little less clean like more grimier metal (doom etc) and phonk, both which have a lot of distortion in the music. It's just a solid all rounder, so considering everything else they cheaped out on i'm amazed they're as good as what they are.
OK - 370Z and 2023 Z owner here.
After getting to drive a LOT of demos and spend hundreds of kms behind the wheel, I always felt the new Z's sub was lacking. Getting back in the 370Z, the sub always seemed to hit harder.
After taking delivery of my new Z, same deal the sub seemed lacking.
However after 1000km with the sound up, the sub seems to have loosened up and gotten better. Also getting the Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement disabled appears to have helped.
Had a 23 Jetta GLI with Beats by Dre, which was truly fantastic. The Bose in the Z is definitely less precise and clear.. just very underwhelming in comparison.
