Here’s what I heard from someone far up the chain.

When the 100% true leak by @Houston.Z35 hit the inter webs, top management freaked out because now there’s no new info to ‘reveal’, the went back and redesigned the car to change the specs.

In all seriousness, the leaked info on this site made it into nearly every automotive site and nearly every YouTube blogger repeated it. The fact is, I think this ‘leak’ generated more interest in the car than anything else so far.

The "leak" is what made me sign up for this forum, but my interest is 100% because of the proto. As soon as I saw it and heard that it was 95% of what we would see in the production car I knew I would have to have one.

Redline reviews predicted a similar price.. seems most people think the sport will start just under 40k
