No picture, but I just got a call from my boss- he just spotted two white Z's on a car carrier around Goodna.
Wrapped in plastic still, no plates fitted.
Likely headed to Nissan HQ in Wacol?
Most likely dealers.
I refuse to get my hopes up anymore…only ends in bitter dissapointment ?

Not really as each region has its own distribution limits. They could say they are building 1000 units a week. Australia may only get 2 out of that 1000 or they may get 900, and the US get the rest, then there are other countries within that, and the fact of left hand right hand drive …it’s impossible to tell what country will receive how many and when unless they break it all down. And they won’t do that
Further more…500 units for the US will only give 1 car to every second dealer. In Aus it would satisfy the entire pre orders. What is plentiful availability for us is next to nothing for you guys
Sure, more info the better, having a country breakdown would be nice. Short of that I'd still like to know the overall planned production. That would give an idea of how serious Nissan is in terms of resource allocation in getting the Z out there.

For example, are we looking at around 14k a year planned output, roughly matching the prior gen 370Z first two years? Or something significantly lower than that, or higher?

For those that don't know, that R400 is 1 of 44 produced and likely one of the most valuable Japanese cars in the country. Last one sold in the UK for over 3 million.

There’s some rare ones in Aus! I saw a Z-Tune at Sandown raceway a few years ago. That 400R looks mint.

Save the drama for your Llamas and get excited peeps, only a few sleeps to go. ;)
Hmmmm, I’m all about the drama ?
As I said refused to be excited, it only ever ends in disappointment over the last year and a half. My version of the 1st in my head goes…
Another 20 reviews, on everything that we already know about.
A few scattered Proto’s delivered.
Dealers getting demos?
Me waiting another 6-8 months for my car to arrive?

If I think this way I won’t be disappointed, and if good things happen, it will be a nice surprise
