so that's just as bad as I thought it would,

I would love it lower on the grill but there are sensors there.
at least the 370/350 it was not right in the grill like this one is.

maybe a side mount to put it low and right of the grill?

even better would be a mount off the bottom lip.

will be intersting to see what the aftermarket come up with.

Some good news,

I just received a call from my dealer and 5 min later I have a contract in my hand that now says Proto Spec Z and has the drive away price on it.

I don't yet have a vin yet' but that is coming in the next week or so apparently. Still no exact ETA but the dealer said its likely to be next month delivery which it at most 6 weeks away.

Drive away price will differ from state to state but for me its JUST under $89k

Just saw this photo, hate the look and placement of the front rego plate, the black plastic its mounted to is the same as old Z, esy to remove and make it less cluttered

Next car carrier into Port Kembla, BERGAMOT ACE, on the 18th July, previous stops were Japanese ports and one stop in Korea. May some Nissans and Hyundia aboard.
Ford people a little luckier, 17000 orders for Ford Rangers placed, 10000 units arriving in the next two months.

Excellent news! Your dealer's getting information that the other aren't. Keep us posted!

Anyone actually seen the car yet in Aus? This car looks like it's at a dealer now.
Surely we know which one!

There are two that we know of, they were used for media reports, and apparently will visit dealers in NSW and VIC as that is where they are.
I don’t believe it’s a different car, if it was I’m sure there would be many more of them

When I was talking to my dealer. He mentioned the 2 (yellow and blue) that were here late may early june were Pre production with no VIN that had to be crushed.

that fact this has a vin makes me think it's a diffrent one.

(or my dealer could have been smoking crack)

Few of the media outlets said it was a preproduction model too. This car it also currently on display at Nissan Mulgrave.

More phone calls to my dealer, he's contacting their Nissan representative now to confirm what's on this ship that we've been told about.

Apparently they're halfway through Coupe allocation but yet to phone anyone..

Yep, well, we were told dealers would know allocations in July.

Fuck I'm really loving this never ending story we've got going. I reckon I'll be almost disappointed for the car to finally arrive and this saga to come to its conclusion.

The hell am I meant to whinge about when it's all over? 🤔😅

Does “halfway through the Coupe allocation” mean they have dealt half the cars they are getting or that they have cars to deal with half the preorders do you think?
