Agree, I love the article for its optimism, I REALLY hope it’s true.…but I’m just remembering the original price of the 370z 13 years ago which was 67999k for a manual, around 70k for automatic.Purely speculation at this point. I cant see them coming in anything under $75k on road, keeping in mind that we wont get the base model
I just can’t see it being sold for less than something was 13 years ago…I do hope I’m wrong though.
I note the article states there may be no price increase for an auto, which in all honestly given the manuals poularity would be a smart economical move for Nissan.
Lastly I don’t like their timeline…end of the year release
Ive been fooled before and probably will be again, but for now I’m trying to be optimistic.. Corporate told me July, so I’m hoping they stay true to that timeline.
I will say that reporters/car mags etc, are doing their best to keep the Zs hype up for Nissan, without these articles many would put it out of their mind…however by not giving details to them, a few months after said articles, it usually comes out that the info is wrong.
I really can’t see the harm in giving us an estimate, the Aus dollar if anything is doing really well against the Yen at present, so it’s not like they will lose out
