So today, I open my mail box and see this title
”your all new Z update”
i got excited, I opened it up eagerly….only to find it’s an exact copy of the reservation information,…so no new information afterall.
This is extremely frustrating!

Just received word from my mate who is a Nissan master tech that Nissan in head office at Melbourne have a Z. No other news unfortunately.
Most likely here for press releases, and dealer training….but sounds like it’s getting closer.
Thanks for the heads up

Dealer called me and asked me to confirm my spec today (again for confirmation).

Transmission, colour and coupe (I.e. Non proto).

I'm Sydney based but I'm guessing there's something happening finally with Nissan Corporate.

My dealer hasn’t asked for confirmation, but it’s yellow manual in the system, so I’m curious if they will offer a Proto or not. To be honest with the estimates coming out I won’t be able to afford the Proto anyway, so that’s why I’m nit pushing follow up too much.
I know I’m second, first manual on the list. I want a yellow, but blue or white wouldn’t break the deal…I'm pretty hopeful one will come in for me otherwise there is going to be trouble

Yeah, my dealer hasn't reached out since I hit him up (for the very first time) earlier in the year and he got back to me saying sweet fuck all.

What estimates are we looking like for the proto and performance here in the wonderful land of Oz?

Somewhere between $60 and $90k depending who you talk to. Mid 70's for the normal (performance) spec and 3-4k more for the proto is my guess but that's all it is!

Seen quotes anywhere from 70-late 80’s thousand. TBH I don’t think anyone really has a clue atm I’d hazard a guess that even Nissan Australia wouldn’t know the exact pricing details yet.

My dealer contacted me today. He said October is most likely.
I asked if it'd be priced below 80k and he said probably, but not much below.
He also said they are mostly in the dark on this release.
I wanted to know about add-ons, i.e. the Bose stereo upgrade and leather interior, he had no info on this.

Well that goes against what Nissan Australia said…as I said corporate were in and literally told me to my face late June early July …
where about is Aus are you at? Maybe they haven’t got to your dealers yet?

having said that have no faith in Nissan Aus at this point
