Well that goes against what Nissan Australia said…as I said corporate were in and literally told me to my face late June early July …
where about is Aus are you at? Maybe they haven’t got to your dealers yet?

having said that have no faith in Nissan Aus at this point
Geelong, VIC.
I cannot vouch for the guy, just relaying what he told me. I was disappointed with October as well.

Hopefully he’s just been told to keep it quite for now.
i suppose we should know for sure in another two months if it’s coming June July

I wonder where he got October from? We're seeing truck loads of the RHD variants in Japan, surely they wont take 7 months to start arriving on our shores.
I'm taking what he said with a grain of salt at the moment. He insinuated that Nissan still didn't know what they were offering to Australia (models, add-ons, etc) and that was the hold-up at the moment.

When did he give you that information? Only ask because originally it was August Sept arrival ( on pre order form) but my dealer and I only just learned of them bringing it forward to June July last week

Plus with @Fontana stating that they have a car at head office, I’m assuming it would be used for compliance and promotion
Surely we are not 7 months out …I’m going nuts

Got a call today from Sydney dealer to confirm all my details and color and transmission of car as they were passing them onto Nissan Australia, they hope to have a car available for test drive in July. Still could not confirm if I would get a car in the first allocation, but if yes, they estimate possible late September delivery.

Why would they get one car to test drive? Surely for delivery it would be more cost effective to send 5 or 6 at once instead of 1

The more differing information we get the more frustrating it gets ?

I would guess that multiple cars with test drive kilometers rather than deliver kilometers would may be considered as demos. I would buy but would want to pay less as a demo.
From what I hear test drive limited to 5km

I don’t even need to test drive…we signed a contract…just give me the car at a reasonable price and I’d be happy

Last I got told a couple of days ago was there’s been a dealers meeting confirming the car would be launching ahead of other models, and to expect July. I tried to push a bit on price, didn’t get anything specific but $80k as a ballpark guess.

Sounds like what I was told…cross fingers

i am interest that a couple of you have been asked to confirm what you ordered….did you guys have written contracts?
Only ask because I haven’t been asked to confirm, but not especially worried as I saw them enter it into the computer system that went to Nissan Aus…way back in early April 2021

Yeap I've got a written contract. But I think my dealer is just double triple checking (which isn't a bad thing I guess lol)

Same with me have a signed contract and also watched dealer enter the details on computer in his office, contracts that I have were made up against the 370z convertible just to get them into the system, then notes added that the order was for a new Z. As new Z was not in the system they had to raise the order against something that was, perhaps now it is there and thats why they are doing updates.
Would be really funny if a 370Z convertible turned up
