I think demo/dealer cars (proto models) will be July.

Other models most likely throughout Aug-Sept (that's the best case realistic scenario right?)

It makes sense though it's not what dealer throughout the country are telling customers.

I'm awaiting a response from an email to Nissan Australia asking if they can provide any clarification for us.

Better than me, coz I used my brain…I thought it had changed, but couldn’t be 100% sure, as old peoples brain is setting in?….so I said nothing ?
On the upside I would count May, June, July and August as “mid” year. Any later it’s fourth quarter and should read “late 2022”….still hope to be held onto that we will have put cars soon

It makes sense, but I’m still holding onto hope that it may be earlier…as I’ve said a few times now, they would be stupid to not maximise shipping because it costs a fortune at present. 92 dealers, each with a demo means a minimal order and exorbitant shipping costs .
Who knows they may even go by popularity of orders in …..terms of combinations were really popular with pre orders.
So say blue with black interior had a huge amount of orders, they could bring In half of what was ordered and safely know they will be gone?
I don't know, just wracking my brain to see how they can do things differently to get cars here, minimise shipping and make pre order customers happy
Especially as that article confirmed that both the proto and coupe will be in the first shipment

We won't get a demo on the Tas coast. I believe I'm the only one who had even ordered one through this dealer. All they sell. Is Navaras ?

Alright, I’m a bit confused with the handbrake and cup holder placement for RHD setup, coffee will fly if that dude from vehicle virgin drives this (did you see how he yanks the shifter, gives me heartburn). It will get elbowed pretty bad no matter what you place there,

Yep. That cup holder isn't the best. It's the same one in the 370z and basically if you use it, your shifting arm has to be a bit awkward (manual). If you bought an auto it would be a bit better.

The 'other' cup holder under the centre console looks like it'll be more functional ?

I noticed this before and passed comment, apparently it was this way on the 370z as well?‍♀

As we are getting to 8 inch screen is the connection wireless?
US version with 9 inch is wireless, on one of their reviews it mention that the sport version with smaller screen was a wired connection.
Do we miss out again

I thought it was wireless for Apple, wired for android …I’d be very disappointed if it’s wired completely

That was my understanding also. I use Android anyway so was ready for the cord either way :( It would be nice if it could be updated to wireless Android in a future update.

I agree…I also think we should have got standard sat nav …look I know it’s not a big issue because you have to update them etc and our phones are always updated (but that means we are always using our data) it’s more the principle.
My 8 year old Peugeot had Sat Nav in it and so does our new Honda CR-V
This is NOT a cheap car ….it’s a bit sad when cars that are a lot cheaper come with all the extras

My dealer confirmed they looked and the "400Z" is still not in their system. Maybe if they looked up the right model name they'd find it ?‍♂
