Hi all ?. Just wondering if anyone else has a proto and is considering the nismo? I'm on the fence with the "eventual" rarity/exclusivity? Just throwing it open for discussion. Hope everyone is well.

Get the Nismo… I didn’t opt for it as I cbf waiting for an unknown arrival date.
Think I’ll trade my Z when the Nismo becomes more available.

Got to say not a real fan if the look of the new nismo, so many cars now have that red trim on their body kits that it doesn't stand out like on the old 370Z nismo.
I know it has the nismo badge but over 100k is a big ask.

I agree… $100k and some red bits that I’d wrap black.

End of the day, I’ve read and heard that it’s way different and improved over the Z and I think it’s a plus.

I like it a lot, but I like to think mine will be the rarest :)

So I'm going to pop my Proto up for sale in Tasmania this weekend. Got my Nismo confirmed yesterday with late December early January ETA. God it's odd to say I'm selling it after 3 months ownership and ordering it back in November 21.. I think for me personally it's the right move. Anyone in TAS interested in a Proto with 500km (200km was driving it home from the dealer, the rest around town) let me know. Has anyone else got their Nismo confirmed?

Hey jpw, apologies for late reply, I've been overseas so I haven't been able to get back to you. I actually was potentially interested in this however my dealership has just informed me that my car is expecting delivery around the 20th Oct. So much for Q1 2024.

Best of luck with selling!
Hey Kaito, Congratulations on your Z. I‘ve also been told to expect my Z between 20th - 23rd Oct. Melb delivery. Suspect ours was on the same boat, mine also a blue 6MT. Who’s your dealer?

Thanks mate. Western Nissan was my dealership. Just picked it up yesterday and it's been so surreal like I'm dreaming

Yennie picked up her Z today.

It lasted about 7km before having it's exhaust changed. We went straight to my mates workshop after delivery haha.

Now that we are home, found some steel brackets and bent them into shape to remove that mammoth plate holder...

I'll probably do dashcam tomorrow or Sunday with the rest of the goodies.

Finally saw my first Z in the wild in Perth (other than mine) on Sunday morning. Blue one driving along West Coast drive in North Beach. Looked great. Let me know if it was you and you are on here.

Are you hardwiring the dash cam? Do you know which fuse type the Z will need? And which fuse slot are you going to use?
Hey mate, yeh hardwired for sure. Fuse box is to the right of the accelerator.

They are mini low profile fuses.

There was plenty of available fuse options to use. Just grab an electrical tester pen.

I ended up going with the top left column. The two 5amp fuses. The bottom one was accessory and the 5amp up higher was constant.

There was like 5 or 6 fuses in the top left "column". But there was only two 5 amps from memory.

I am using the ROOM LAMP for constant power and POWER SOCKET for ACC power. The +/- sides are shown in the pictures.
There are 2 spare slots. The one above TCU is constant, but I can’t plug in a fuse tap as the Transport Mode switch gets in the way?. The one below POWER SOCKET has no power even the car is turned on.?

This is the first Z I’ve seen on the roads other than mine. It was outside Nissan Moorooka.
