I think the big markup band wagon has sailed.

too many cars on the market and now cars are slowly rolling in

markups will be less and less.
Maybe, or maybe as more awareness of the vehicle begins there will be a peak?? Most people who talk to me about it, have no idea what it is. Others just think it's a 370. It really is a weapon of a car, and as more experience and reviews are shared by real world people, maybe we see more interests. Given the price of Supra's there is probably support for bigger prices.

I am in my own predicament as obviously I don't need three cars. I should not have ordered the BRZ in hindsight... I love the Z, however also know that I'd be totally swapping to the Nismo variant if it comes out, as fixes the only gripe which is sound.. ha ha.

Also I would think version 1.2 will have more tech in it, and whilst not a big thing for me, maybe for others. This also depends on whether Nissan can just do some over the wire updates for things, like lane assist instead of just lane departure warning? (No idea about this, electronic steering might mean no additional module or maybe not. I know Mercedes turned this on for some 2020 models recently over the wire).

I hate lane assist so they can keep that away from mine.
AUD $2k would fix the sound I think. I’m tempted by the Z1 touring exhaust - enough to make a difference but not enough to annoy the neighbours.

Where in Aus would you get the touring exhaust, or is it an import.
Would cost a bucket in postage no?

Is there a Z1 video for this exhaust? I’d like a deep exhaust and some pops but no drone. And a nice cold start :D?

I googled it, and found one…sounded nice.
Like @Hammo25 said, loud but nit too loud, just enough to sound like a sports car should

Yeah that’s a problem. Figured I’d see how much. Could perhaps bundle
It with a few other bits and pieces.

Also not sure if I need full cat back or just Y back for the sound. I’m not too concerned about getting more power.
I ordered the genuine Nissan cargo net from them on the weekend and it arrived in Perth already!

I also like their Z1 wheel package. Just a bit more offset to bring the wheels out a little. As spacers are illegal everywhere in Australia, finding wheels with the right offset isn’t that easy.

Another day, another car carrier in Freo port….without Zs.
I’m not sure about this quarantine argument. Especially on the west coast.
You can download harbour cam and see almost every day they have a car carrier in port and delivering, plenty of trucks picking up as well

Very frustrating

About 13 new Zs showed up in inventory in my mostly US West Coast search. I'm sure hoping this isn't the total delivery from the Emerald Ace. If it is, it doesn't bode well for getting this car this year.

Wait. What?

Seriously, @West Aussie was saying no new Zs in WA AU. I'm thinking that the ship heading to Vancouver (also not US) isn't going to be carrying much either.

Every time I get a glimmer of hope, I try to dig up some data and find that Nissan disappoints again.
