Awesome cool morning cruise up to Crystal Lake. No new Z yet in the group, but a rare ZX-R joined us. I'm patiently waiting for the right-priced new Z to upgrade for a track weapon 😅

Next week, Dec 2nd, club will stage next to the Japanese Zero at Planes of Fame Air Museum, commemorating Pearl Harbor month! Really looking forward to that. Might get meatball door vinyl to add to the livery.

Great pics! I should be visiting next week & have a Cayman booked off Turo, planning to head that way so it's good to see what the roads look like.
If you have time after Crystal Lake, make your way towards Mt Baldy Village, more sweet mountain road driving. One route is, coming down from Crystal, make left at East Fork bridge, continue up to the end at the t-junction, that would be Glendora Ridge Road, left and continue on to the Village. In any sports car should take no more than another half hour or so. Enjoy the Cayman drive, I also have a 987 first gen, such balanced-handling Porsches!

Cheers for the tip we'll definitely do that. I've only done a small part of the roads out that way, start of last year in a Q60 RS I hired to get an early taste of the Z engine. There was snow over the roads up top so we couldn't get far. If we make the drive I'll post up some pics; I also saw there's the 'Good Times Breafast Club' meet--we might be able to get to that.

Looking forward to the Porsche! A drive in a 911 a few years ago convinced me to get a sports car again, and I was keen on the Caymans. My last fast car was a Skyline R33 though so when the Z got announced I was pretty stoked.
