I saw the post, so I decided to read every single post he's made, and really liked the info. I also only saw a lot of positive feedback regarding his posts.
I tried to question it on his last post, but it was locked for replies.
Does anyone know what happened? Did his wife hijack his account and write that because he was spending too much time on the forums?? ;) hahaha
We are all here to talk about our cars, and share info. No need to be mean to each other (even though I couldn't find any instances of that happening)
I'm new to this forum, and have only had great experiences with the people, and the forum in general.

Not a single person was mean, he's just making wild claims when the actual companies he's talking about say otherwise lol. It's just odd

Conversation over the internet is NOT for people with thin skin. It's unrealistic to think that people will agree with everything that one posts. I think this is a pretty copasetic forum.

I always give people the benefit of the doubt so perhaps Brock was having a bad day. I hope they have a change of heart and return to this forum. From my short experience, people here have been generally helpful and kind.

You can blame me for this. Helping people is mean.
Wow, if that's what turned him off, then he has no business on car forums! lol. I'm on a minimum of 4 forums (depending on what I own at the time), and it can get nuts. But this was not nuts at all. It's just normal car talk. And you were just trying to help him.

A little side note....regarding the JB4. My opinion is that If done properly, I have to disagree with you regarding the JB4 being crap (but again, just my opinion). I have one on my GTI that I track, and agree with you if you leave it on Map 3 it sucks. However, I put mine on Map 6 which is customizable. I did the graphing on it, and watched all the parameters, especially the fuel trims, and the timing pull, and I tweaked it on the hottest day of the year. I made sure there was no fuel starvation issues, and no timing pull. Between the tune, the intercooler, and the down pipe, I'm adding about 100hp. The car pulls nice and smooth because I fine tuned the tune's boost at each 1,000RPM, so it felt linear and stock, but just way more powerful! All that said, it's so fast, that I kept waiting for the car to blow up, or blow a turbo (stock), but I'm shocked that even after 20,000+ miles, and dozens of track days, the thing still runs like new!! Doesn't even burn a drop of oil.
All things considered; I am not putting any tune on my new Nismo. I want to leave it all stock for maximum reliability.

I never said the JB4 is junk. I said the base maps are junk and he needed a custom map 6. I run JB4 on one of my cars if that says anything about how I feel about it....

Oh ok, sorry, I guess I misread your post about it. I like the JB4, and totally agree with you regarding the base maps.
