Just looking at your picture up there, FI does seem lower than a stock exhaust, and HKS has resolved this?

Yes, they managed to pull off the same height as the stock exhaust.

There’s nothing wrong with the exhaust system, had it inspected earlier this morning. It’s just too loud for my liking. Was told it was very similar to stock by the guys over at fast intentions even with the lowered downpipes.

Yes I’m very interested in hearing this. Most have full pipes and wanted to hear it with lower Down pipes. Did you get the FI lower down pipes? I have this set up at home but haven’t installed it yet

Consider "deleting" the hood lifters.
It seems that they can deploy with the slightest provocation, and I would think lowering the car won't help matters.
You mean when a pretty lady passes by on the crosswalk??!

I think it sounds pretty good. It's not raspy, not too over the top. It is kind of loud, but not obnoxious. I just need my damn car and I'll be installing mine, but with full downpipes.
