I am going to replace the front fascia bumper cover on my 26 Sport next week with the new 27 Fascia, will the 26 grill assembly work or will I need a different grill assembly?

This isn't much help, but I assume that's a 'no.'
No doubt it fits on and meets the hood and fenders correctly, but based on the differences in the grille/opening itself, I've gotta think that the grillwork, gridwork, whatever inside the opening is specific to the '27 bumper cover.

Parts breakdown for MY27 on Nissan parts websites is still really sparse. Z1 sells the NISMO conversion as a kit (everything or almost everything included), but not the '27 yet...I don't think.. Sometimes with these car mods there are a ton more knick-knacks you need (like trying to piece together your own air/oil separator kit). With Nissan stuff, you find out you need a bracket, so you buy it. Only to realize the other side of the bracket is separate. Then where are the two screws. So you buy two screws, only to find out one is longer than the other.
I've attended that rodeo before.
It could get...frustrating, to say the least.

Good luck. Looking forward to keeping up with your progress.

The entire bumper assembly will need to be swapped, nothing is carryover. How did you source a MY27 bumper? Is it a kit, or did you just get the “raw” bumper? If you didn’t get a kit, there is a lot of extras you’re going to need (upper and lower grilles, sensor and sonar housings, harness extensions, various fasteners and foam).

Here is a link to my post describing the parts necessary to swap bumpers. It was a heritage bumper, not a MY27 bumper, but you’ll still need the same stuff.

Thank you, maybe I will keep the ‘26 look, I was backed into in a parking lot and can get the ‘27 from replacement.

A fully assembled take-off bumper would probably be your best bet. Though, there might not be a lot available right now since the MY27s are still pretty new. I’m only seeing pre-facelift bumper assemblies on eBay.
