I'm actually looking for a 67-68 XR-7 to restomod with a Tremec manual, mom had one many years ago, had much better interior than Mustangs back then and more unique nowadays. Love the hidden headlights and sequential rear turn lights. Such a cool cruiser ?

Nice…i love older cars, but I don’t like the upkeep.
I know, a lot of the mechanical stuff is easier to keep in check because without the computers you can do most of the work yourself, but still…things can get expensive.
My sons commodore is approaching 20 years, it was his grand dads, so it’s in great condition for its age. But there always seems to be something that needs to be fixed. The latest is the cloth trim on the roof is starting to sag…something he can’t do himself ?
