I just sold my 2018 Nismo 370z and bought a 2026 Z Performance.

At the track, the 370z always ran hot even with oil and transmission coolers. I added a supercharger and the transmission failed, installed a VR30 transmission but it didn’t sync up.

I’m in North Texas, but avoided the track from late May to mid-September.

Are the fluid temps on the 23+ Z similar at the track?

'24 Nismo, also in North Texas. I went last year in March in early march at MSR Cresson. No temp issues were had. Had a bit of minor brake fade, but have since gone with stainless steel brake lines + high temp brake fluid.

Weak points for the Performance seem to be the Oil cooler, Brake Fluid, Brake pads, and Heat Exchanger. Some people report no issues stock - It all depends on what kind of track day you're doing and how long its being pushed.

The Nismo has two turbo heat exchangers (central and passenger-side), plus an extra engine coolant radiator. This gives it better cooling out the box than the Sport/Perf.

Best of luck. Great car.

Where did you get your SS brake lines from? I'm trying to find out if the Z1 SS brake lines work on the Nismo. If not then I need to sell them

All Akebonos, when I was purchasing, said just the sport/perf model for RZ34 (well, the japanese equivalent trim name), but when I got in contact with Nengun, they confirmed that it would work for the NISMO

Thank you!! The Z1 SS lines said Sport/Performance as well so they should work.
