Weak points for the Performance seem to be the Oil cooler, Brake Fluid, Brake pads, and Heat Exchanger. Some people report no issues stock - It all depends on what kind of track day you're doing and how long its being pushed.
The Nismo has two turbo heat exchangers (central and...
I'm going with the SPL/Nismo suspension set up soon. I was going NISMO from the get-go to be quite honest, but with the past Z1 FUCA issues and comments you can find online, I wouldn't spend my money on them. I purchased their engine cover and even that had QC issues out of box. I can...
The Nismo coils have been great and have improved the handling for me. In terms of drop, I left it at the stock settings Nismo provides. I imagine it was an inch, but I can't confirm 100%. I had Nissan do the install for me.
Hi everyone -
I've been looking at doing my next upgrades and am currently planning on upgrading the following all at once:
Nismo Adjustable Sway Bar Kit
Nismo Front Endlink Set
Nismo Rear Endlink Set
(The vehicle has Nismo Coilovers already)
My questions is - Would it be worth it to go...
This is the biggest pain point on this car in terms of care imo. I am dealing with the same thing. No garage, parked outside. I looked into covers and found they do more damage than help with micro scratches. I was quoted $2400 for PPF on all piano blank areas of the car, but only got 1 quote.
You luckily have the NISMO which has the extra heat exchanger. You should not have an issue with cooling. I have the performance, did the Nismo HX and got 10-20 degrees lower. I have the Nismo street exhaust and Nismo CAI and I imagine were around a 15-20HP increase based off nearly every...
I've got all Nismo performance mods. Coils, Heat Exchanger, CAI, Engine Strut Tower Brace, and the Nismo Street Exhaust.
1. Nismo Sway Bars - Front and Rear. Also what would be the appropriate settings to tighten up/button down the car's handling for street driving (OEM+). Do I also need to...
I can confirm that it does not have a country of origin listed anywhere on the filter. They come wrapped in plastic and were not in a box. I have no idea.
I doubt this'll be the last time we hear of one of these. The QC was evidently poor. I'm glad you're getting taken care of. I haven't bought from them since. They do not make anything I need badly enough to get past my poor experience.
I've gone exclusively Nismo parts for upgrades to my 24' Performance. I found the best thing to do is dealer shop as the prices vary from dealer to dealer. I landed on Metro Nissan of Dallas as the cheapest in the TX area for me (at the time).
