Maybe I am, just seems different than what it was doing before and the spiking at idle concerns me. Yours does the same thing?
I do not have a Z but generally speaking, thats where you want it to be. My 07 350z got up to 120°c oil temp on hot days.

Yea thats what I was used to seeing, yours doesn't climb at idle either I'm guessing?
Coming home this afternoon was Hwy and some stop and go traffic the temp fluctuated between 88-91C. If it wasn't a digital gauge I wouldn't of even noticed. It may not have even hit the threshold to turn the fan on.

Interesting. I just assumed with our cold temperatures right now, that kind of looks like the threshold of the thermostat opening and closing, I wouldn't even think that's hot enough to even engage the cooling fans yet

Alright so left the dealership and there is nothing wrong with car. Rad fan kicks on at 100c coolant temp, and bounces around a lot. and oil running temp is a pretty steady 95c.
Which seems normal now, was just worried because it seemed to be a very steady high 80's the entire time until now. Manager theorized it's either the warmer weather. Or a break in tune to keep temps lower for the break in. Either way don't be surprised when all of a sudden she starts running hotter at around 800km!!

I was driving in LA (Los Angeles) traffic, stop and go for about an hour and noticed the gauge reading around 200F (93C). Since it's a new car, wasn't sure if this was norm.
