Has anyone purchased an extended warranty from Nissan?

I don't plan on modding my Z and would like to look into an extended warranty. The dealer I bought from quoted me something from Allstate, surely there is an extended warranty from Nissan, right ?

NissanUSA.com says they offer an extended warranty but provide zero information about it.

Thanks KCZ, can you share the highlights if you don't mind? Does this need to be purchased when one buys the actual car? I bought mine in July. Thx

There are different options regarding time and coverage levels, and each is based on the specific vehicle. That's why you don't see specific pricing/term information on websites.

My guess is the dealer earns more money with Allstate warranty.

If there is a provision for buying one after the purchase, you might have to pay for an inspection.

Tip: stay away from oil change contracts.

thanks Donalex. Apparently I'm the only one who doesn't plan on modding my Z, ha. Makes sense on the Allstate and gotcha on the oil change contracts.

I'm not going to mod mine either (except window tint). I'm curious to see how it holds its value as a kinda-sorta rare 2023 Z. I'll check in again in 10 years. 😉

Yes, I purchased the extended warranty from Nissan. It’s called Nissan Security+Plus. It extends warranty out to 84 months or 75,000 miles, whichever comes first. I went with the Gold level, which has $100 deductible, it cost $2,995.

Modding your car has no impact on warranty except if it can be proven the mod caused or contributed to the breakdown.

I purchased a nissan gold preferred plan from Rothrock Motors. Dealt with Kevin Podratz, [email protected], (484) 223-0658. I was happy with the price. The price seems to vary depending on the miles on the car (in my case, very low)

An aftermarket product will only void a warranty claim if it can be proved the part was the cause of the complaint.

Generally, a catback exhaust should not void a warranty claim unless it harms something else, which would be unlikely.
