2023 performance Z, with a little over 3K miles. I stopped for fuel, with stated 40 miles left of fuel (about 30 miles away from home). The fuel door wouldn't open. Since I wasn't close to home, I pulled on the door until a plastic plunger on a spring broke. Seems like it was the issue...
I think there must be different ways the dealers mark the car as "sold". My car continued to be on Bill's inventory until it was delivered to the dealer, even though it was marked as sold on the local dealer system. It was held at the port for about a month.
I purchased a nissan gold preferred plan from Rothrock Motors. Dealt with Kevin Podratz, [email protected], (484) 223-0658. I was happy with the price. The price seems to vary depending on the miles on the car (in my case, very low)
I had to wait 4 months to get one at MSRP. Only had to travel about 90 minutes to get it. Actually the dealers internet salesman told me about the car that was scheduled to come in , and I put a non-refundable deposit on it. Keep trying !
I was quite lucky that I found a dealer in PA that would let me test drive the car, even though I was very clear that I wasn't going to purchase an automatic trans (or pay over MSRP)

I was able to find the Z I wanted at at MSRP because of Bill's spreadsheet, and the internet salesman working for the dealer who told me that another Z was on its way, and I could put a non-refundable deposit on it (no issue for me !)
