Over the last couple of weeks, I haven't been able to completely fill my tank at my usual two gas stations - they had a $75 transaction limit for pay at the pump transactions until this week.

I filled my Titan from 1/8th of a tank for over $80. I'm still sticking to using 93 octane in the truck but my will is fading quicky.

You have a newer Titan that recommends premium?

Good news ...

Petrol prices set to ease after hitting record highs
Petrol prices are likely to fall back from record levels due to the costs of wholesale fuel and global oil easing, UK motoring groups have said.

If this does happen, it will be interesting to see how quickly the stations lower their prices. No doubt they'll then claim they bought the oil last week when prices where higher, so can't lower the prices at the pump.

Yeah mine is a 2020 (premium required for 400hp map). I can actually tell a bit of a difference when running 87 vs 93 octane. I can get by without premium just fine, but it just seems to run smoother and I get 0.5 - 1.25 MPG better on 93. This crap get's into the mid $5 range and I'll probably cave.

I have been hypermiling a bit on my commute and have been milking the truck for 19 MPG lately though, so I'm not mad at that. I don't think I can drive like this forever though. I'll go insane.

Don't ask me why I still get email notifications from them, let alone have an account, but I saw this and thought it was hilarious. They are literally copying everything this forum does. It was one thing about like, announcements, but this is next level

Gas price hike will trickle down to other things. Have y'all start to see substantial (or dramatic) price increase in food (eating in or out) yet? Based on USDA data (up to Jan 31, 22), fruits saw 2% increase w/in 1 month while everything else is like 1% increase.

We saw decrease in fruits prices in 2017-2018.

Yep…it’s happening in Aus as well. For us it’s not just about fuel, the east have had massive floods knocking the farms around, and in the west our train line that delivers products from the east was totally destroyed By floods, meaning things had to be shipped …much Longer and expensive process
