This is an embarrassing question...

How in the world does the cruise control works? I took a trip the other day and while on the highway, could not figure out how to engage it... 😕😕

Nissan's cruise control is kind of irritating because you have to turn it on every time you re-start the car, whereas on my GMC, it's always on. Nissans require that in order to engage cruise control, you have to first turn it on then push the momentary rocker switch down to set the speed. Pay attention to the forward radar because you have three choices about the distrance that the adaptive cruise control keeps you from the car in front of you.

You can also press-and-hold to get old-school non-adaptive cruise control.

The Z's cruise control does strange stuff too.

Like just giving up while adjusting speed.

I've also seen it copy the current speed to the set speed while adjusting speed. For example, the car is set for 45, and maybe you're going slower 40, and you want to bump up to 50. As you use the + switch, the set speed changes to 42 or something.

@CPerdomo , once you get it working, watch out for quirks.

Agreed with all Nissan has the least intuitive cruise control of any vehicles I've ever owned and it's "clunky" in its operation too. A small price to pay for such a car though.

Yeah...irritating but not a deal-breaker. I knew what I was getting into from previous Z's and my wife's many Muranos.

Thank you all for the responses. I will try it next time I take the car out.
