I'm a big fan of 'different' designs, but this really does look to be a case of form over function. Just cant see any benefit to having twin tips plumbed to single outlet on each side. At least none that would be worth the reduced clearance...

Purely aesthetic in a formation like this. What the car would really benefit from is a full 3" mandrel bent system from the catalytic converter back. Or add aftermarket downpipes, catted or not, with a full rear system. That'll really wake things up.

Yeah, this is rough-looking. It doesn't look organic with the way the Z's rear valance is designed.
