I just want the plug. I dont need to spend extra on the CF piece. I would just keep the poppers in place. I hate filling up my parts bin of stuff that will never be used

Same here, its a bummer that the delete kit costs $180 for something so small. I guess its paying forward as the damage it could cause by popping accidental cost way more.

I got the recall. Looked it up on Nissan's site, don't have any notification or mailer yet.

2024 Perf.
Build date 9/2023

Damn. Really don't want someone besides me messing with my Z.

I agree with @MCN1SMO that it sounds like it is less likely to go off based on the verbiage of the recall.

Hmmm. Might have to look into some of these other options.

Youre just paying for the brand name and the CF delete plate.

Has anyone had the recall repair done yet, just wondering whats involved, if the bumper has to come off, don't want the dealer leaving any scratch marks

If we bring our car in for another reason, will they force it on us?

I have the Recall on my Z and am currently being preformed. I was given no notice from Nissan via mail or the app

My Carfax Car Care app showed up a couple days after MyNissan app showed the recall

Most likely VIN related

Yes bumper comes off & the car is lifted to complete the recall, takes about 105 min but may need to schedule ahead if the part isn't on-hand.

Can't imagine skipping a recall being worried about the dealer scuffing the paint. I just take pictures and walk the vehicle thoroughly before departing but have yet to have an issue at Hawk Nissan St Charles (knock on wood)
