Glad you got that sorted, l have 23 Proto myself in Melbourne, l noticed they fitted oil filter 15208ED50A which is for the Maxima, Micro, Pulsar and Qashquai.
Filter for the Z is 1520865F1B. Cheers Steve.

Thanks very much for your reply the reason I got the oil changed early was they started the vehicle up without driving much in the 7 mths vehicle only had 300 ks and was only used by a very close friend of mine so very confident vehicle wasn't thrashed on. Will contact Nissan today to see what's going on with the oil filter, from the research that I've done both are interchangeable the one that you recommended is the Japanese one and I'm pretty sure my one was manufactured in Mexico, but will make some inqueries today as I'm ready for an oil change, once again mate thanks heaps for your reply fantastic information.

Yes they recommended 5W 30 in my vehicle as a alternative oil especially in Queensland where we rarely get below 25 most days are 32,34 with high humidity

We run 5w/30 in Vic as well. Enjoy that Z in beautiful QLD.
