Bolt Ons Z Performance Metrics and Comparisons

Thought it’d be fun to start a thread showing what kind of performance you can expect from modifying your Z. Below are my personal Dragy times running stock turbos, catless downpipes, and an E60 tune by SonicTuned, along with supporting fueling and cooling upgrades.

I’ve also included comparison runs from friends on a ZX6R, RS660, and a Kenne Bell 2.8L supercharged 5.0 S550 for reference.

True, but it would not be a big difference. The auto is only 2 seconds faster than the manual, from 0-60.

Very nice fast Z you've got there, that mustang was trying his best but I suppose that turbo's are better top end than a supercharger; despite the Z's turbos being small it was surprising how almost always whenever you shifted into the next gear you pulled harder.

I'd assume that since he's running power much higher than stock and a significantly altered power band, that the automatic is almost double the speed of the manual.

Yeah, even on stock turbos it pulls hard, but only because I shift at 6000 RPM. Anytime I shift later than that, my times get noticeably slower. Stock turbos run out of steam past 6000.
