One thing I hadn't considered when I bought my Z was where to go for maintenance. I generally had positive interactions with the team at Earnhardt Lexus back when I had my RCF and I got used to what was overall pretty solid service. Nissan has not been particularly impressive for me in the past...I had a not-so-great experience with Larry H. Miller in the past with a different vehicle, and despite that I gave them a chance to work on my Z today but after another fail I definitely won't be giving them a third opportunity. In the past I tried Pinnacle (misdiagnosed a trans problem on my 350z that they should have known better), and Autonation Nissan in Chandler also resulted in a disappointing visit, to say the least.
Curious if anyone has a trusted service advisor and a mechanic that actually knows something about the VR30 in the greater Phoenix area that they would recommend? While I'm leaning more towards dealership (at least for now while I'm under warranty), I might be open to third party options as well...
