One thing I hadn't considered when I bought my Z was where to go for maintenance. I generally had positive interactions with the team at Earnhardt Lexus back when I had my RCF and I got used to what was overall pretty solid service. Nissan has not been particularly impressive for me in the past...I had a not-so-great experience with Larry H. Miller in the past with a different vehicle, and despite that I gave them a chance to work on my Z today but after another fail I definitely won't be giving them a third opportunity. In the past I tried Pinnacle (misdiagnosed a trans problem on my 350z that they should have known better), and Autonation Nissan in Chandler also resulted in a disappointing visit, to say the least.

Curious if anyone has a trusted service advisor and a mechanic that actually knows something about the VR30 in the greater Phoenix area that they would recommend? While I'm leaning more towards dealership (at least for now while I'm under warranty), I might be open to third party options as well...

After purchasing my Z from Avondale Nissan, I was favorably impressed with the organization. I am considering giving them a shot at maintaining my new Performance. Dunno. Dealers are a crap shoot but who else knows such a new car? Good luck.

i also think Avondale Nissan might be the best place to go. The shop Forman owns a Z... plus one of the sales guys is a huge Nismo guy has a tuned Nismo Z. Some Nissan dealerships don't know anything about the car (Bell Rd.)

i got my 1st Nissan from ABC Nissan on Camelback (they still owe me a tank of gas) service is a joke there... i got two more cars Avondale Nissan before trying to work with Peoria Nissan, Bell Rd. on buying a 2023 Z... they wasted my time for about a year before they said we gonna charge you 30k over sticker. (y'all told me retail or better A YEAR AGO!) i went back to Avondale Nissan that weekend and got a rare color combo, MT performance 24 in Feb last year at retail.... that bring my total to 3 cars from Avondale

I met up with Nick last weekend, and I am leaning heavily on driving pretty far out of my way to Avondale if I decide to take it into a dealer for service...

Definitely take it to the shop where service people are driving Z’s.

Nick is great! Did you get a chance to see/hear his car? Luckily I'm I don't live too far from the dealership. When I took my old 93 Ford Taurus to Midas (back in the day) at my shop was a Taurus guy who keeps her running like a 10 year younger vehicle. Thats how I feel about my Z now, it's being serviced my not just an expert but a Z owner.... Make the trip for service.
