Hey I know these kinds of questions are plentiful, but It's nice to get some validation. Hence why I'm asking :).

I tracked my Performance trim Z the other day, and realized that street tires are not good for tracking. I actually need to buy tires built for the track. And if I do that, I think it would be more convenient to have a set of after market wheels to swap on/off the track. I've been researching fitment, what modifications do to your setup, cost, availability, etc...

I've decided which wheel I think would look good, will perform well, and most important, bend rather than break if I screw up. The wheels I landed on were the Enkei RPF1s. There are two setups I was thinking of running. One where the rpf1s are my track wheels, and the other where the OEM wheels are my track wheels. Either way will be fine. I really do like the look of these wheels XD.

Also, they seem to clear 370z's brake caliper with the sport package, so I'm sure they'll clear this cars brake caliper setup. https://conceptzperformance.com/wiki/index.php/Akebono_Wheel_Clearance

Another note, I am pretty much stock. No coilovers, or other things that can play with the fitment.

The track RPF1 setup I am considering is:
Square
18x10.5 15mm offset.
Continental extreme force 295/30r18

The street RPF1 setup I am considering is:
Staggered
Front: 18x9.5 38mm offset 265/45r18
Rear: 18x9.5 15mm offset 265/45r18

I've been using this wheel/tire calculator to determine the dimension differences from stock. The track setup 100% pokes, but it's a track setup. More tire means more good.

As for the street setup, according the above mentioned wheel/tire calculator, my fitment should be slightly more flush than stock, which is nice :). Also, I get the added benefit of a more comfy ride since I have more dampening between my butt and the road.

TL;DR
Will either of these wheel/tire setups on enkei RPF1s work on a performance trim 2024 Nissan Z:
Setup 1: Square
18x10.5 15mm offset with 295/30r18 tires

Setup 2: Staggered
Front: 18x9.5 38mm offset 265/45r18
Rear: 18x9.5 15mm offset 265/45r18

Thank you!

With a 10.5” rim, you can go with a better offset which will not poke as much. No need to poke that much and add more scrub radius than you need to. I would check with a 10.5” 22 or 24mm.

Just a thought. I would talk to Z1 about what fits well if you want to find the limits with regards to shoving some serious tire under the fenders. Your camber numbers will change things as well if you get adjustable uppers and get aligned properly for traction vs tire wear. And. If you’re okay with poke for the track and really want some grip, why not an 11” with a 305? (Just trying to cover all angles in case there is an angle you haven’t seen yet). Otherwise, I think a flow formed enkei is a great rim. Strong and light. I had a Q50 AWD with rpf1’s. Loved it. (Same engine as our Z)

Got a response back from enkei. It will NOT fit. The RPF1s cannot clear the front brake calipers.

That's unfortunate. We will never see rpf1s on a new performance trim nissan Z.

It’s a shame. I vote that they make them in a 19” so the Z can wear them!

Is the clearance problem on the inside of the face or the rim? If the rim clears, you can get a higher offset and run them with spacers.

I'd rather not run spacers. I've seen a few horror videos. I also decided to run a different flow formed wheel. It's a bit pricier, but I also liked them when I saw them :).

Thanks for the suggestion though!

What wheel and sizes did you end up going with?

Work Wheels ZR10
Front:
19x9.5 23ET
Rear:
19.10.5 15ET

They have been proven to work, so yay :). Still haven't picked out tires. Probably just going to pick out whatever summer is cheapest on tire rack or discount tire.
