Looking to replace the stock tires on my 2024 Performance Z. I’ve seen the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 recommended many times and Costco currently has them on sale. I know little about tires—I don’t know what I don’t know. I see talk of spacers, etc., and haven’t a clue. I love Costco and these prices look okay, but can I trust their installers to know how to deal with this particular car? Are there things I need to ask for or point out? I’d really appreciate input and advice. Attached is Costco listing. Specs below picture.

Really can't go wrong with Michelins, I know a friend who got a good deal on tires through Costco and I don't think it's a bad option, but installation experience may vary...

But those are the all seasons. Will they be sticky enough? I would recommend 295/35/19 on the rear for better traction

Costco great prices they want you to come back pretty often like every 5k miles but you if you’re Z isn’t a daily driver that shouldn’t be an issue..to rotate them or they wont honor the mileage warranty at least that’s what i was told .. doesn’t cost anything but a little time consuming.. i had a hyundi banger that i had brought tires from them it was my work car i was doing 25k a year so in like a year i was sitting around 5 times lol

I wouldn’t let Costco touch my rims or my car. I’d buy the tires from Costco and take it to a tire shop that has experienced dealing with high-end cars, Corvettes Porsches, and have them mount and balance the tires. You’re going to open yourself up to all kinds of problems letting the $15 an hour 19 year old tech work on your Z.

I wouldn't worry about Costco installation since most SUV's and minivans they work on cost more than the Z.

Thank you, this is my concern. I know someone who briefly worked there and fit your description exactly. Now to find a trustworthy, experienced shop in Northern Virginia that won’t try to rip me off…

Noted, thanks. This is exactly the kind of thing I don’t know. Though it’s hard to imagine any tire being less sticky than these piece of shit stock tires.

I went through tires.com and got the Continental Control Contact Sport SRS+ with the OEM specs for my Performance Z. I have taken a few corners and never heard the tires squeal ... which means I need to go faster :ROFLMAO:
The stock 007s sucked ... like a whore on crack.

I would NEVER put a 500+ tread wear rating all season tire on a sportscar (unless winter tires, or drift/burnout fodder). Both tires mentioned in this thread are going to be less grippy than the already struggling stock Bridgestone's, which are a 280 treadwear max performance summer tire.

Your tire candidates should start at max performance summer tires and extend to extreme performance summer tires if you'd like to improve grip substantially.

I have to respectfully disagree, only on the point that if you use this car as a daily driver, the stock 007s suck in ANY weather. All weather tires work well on my Performance. I have had the car for almost a year and only reached 6k miles today. I don't track it, but I have posted video of making a run on the stock tires --- I only lifted because I could feel the tires losing grip.
Here are the links to the videos, first and second runs:

Second Run
I haven't made a run with the new tires, but I can to test out a newer dashcam ... the GPS in the RedTiger couldn't keep up with the acceleration... ;)

This is is what confuses me, on paper the 007 should be decent. I wonder if they are a cheaper oe version or something. I was considering trying Firestone Indy 500s just because they are a dedicated summer and cheap.

295s on the back? Why? It's the wrong size.

Nitto G2s all day long for me!
