Hey Gang, figured I'd share this as I'm a fair way along with the initial bits I'm designing for the Z. For context I used to have an FK8 that I made a complete aero kit for back during covid, and that worked out so well I'm doing it again for the Z.
The end goal is front lip, front half spoiler, grill garnish w/license plate mount, side skits, rear spats and possibly rear diffuser and a different spoiler. As of now I've designed my grill garnish and it's on the car being tested, and I've tossed a few test prints at the car to check size and the accuracy of the laser scan before I print a complete lip.
I'm quite pleased with the grill garnish, as I was interested in the speed forme one until I saw they wanted almost $1000 CAD, and you need to drop the bumper to install it. My version uses self locating mounts I made that attach from the front similar to the stock license plate frame, and then the garnish "cover" snaps into the mounts. and can be secured with screws or just adhesive for a cleaner look. I also did the license plate frame which lowers the plate to allow more air flow up top and angles the plate downwards to visually shrink it.
