I think it looks great, but still prefer the original. I don’t necessarily consider successful car styling to in every way replicate an older version and don’t care if it harkens back to the ‘70s or not. This new one certainly beats the Heritage and others I’ve seen that don’t make any sense to me other than they’re different.

I’m in a state that requires front plate licenses holders so either way my bumper would look “differently”

nissan had a custom one for the one I have I’m curious how it will change it, it makes it a bit, different!

I wonder if we could lobby our state legislatures to drop the front plate laws. It seems antiquated with automatic license plate readers, etc. Stop ruining the fronts of our cars!

Same. That would be an instant replacement if it's an easy drop in...
It reminds me of my Z32. If it’s an easy swap, I would consider it.

I've installed the front plate on my '23 performance. I don't really like the look, but I don't hate it either.

But there's no way I'd install the front plate on a NISMO.

And I'm guessing it would completely ruin the amazing look of this split grille.

Me personally, I feel like the big rectangle grille doesn't work on the RZ34(and no modern sleek bodied sports car that matter), it worked for the S30 because of the chrome bar and the fact that it was somewhat recessed as the line dropped in the bumper. But the rectangle grille on the RZ34 looks like it should be on a boxy truck, boxy SUV or even the boxy Dodge Challenger or a box Chevy. When you have a sleek and low slung sports car shape, which the RZ34 has, the design just doesn't mesh well in my eyes and I hate looking at the car from a head on angle.

I can’t really think of much that I hate. Pretty extreme, and hard to imagine over a car. I’m curious for a person with such profound and dramatic convictions, what is to love? Pizza? Cheetos? Panama City Beach? Kim Kardashian?

Head cracking issue is rare. Nearly all performance cars have some sort of endemic engine flaw that occurs in some % of the cars made. Ultimately if my engine blows up out of warranty I'll save up and put a new one in.
Here in Florida Brand-new OEM 2025 engine + install is 20K + tax

That's pretty high! You can buy an AMS Stage 2 built motor and install for less than that.
20K + tax is average for 2025 engine + install. I checked with a few places. You wont find much better here in south florida especially now and prices will only go up.

You can buy a long block direct from Nissan for about 8k if you get a decent deal. If your turbos are good, then just transfer over your accessories, call it 3k for install. You’re in for 10-11k tops for a new motor.
