2025 off to a great start for Z sales

2024 had an extended model year and they over compensated for low production 2022-2023 and it was too much for such a niche car. Nissan decided to do $2500 dealer cash to try to help alleviate this.

2025 model year is already in correction mode as production as ended. It ran from Nov-March. so with lower numbers and the 2024s clearing out it should help stabilize the value of the car as its currently rock bottom

Definitely, the big discounts have played the biggest factor in the increasing sales and the fear of tariffs have also maybe contributed to the increase. I've seen more new Z's on the road in the last month than when they were launched in 2022.

I'm in Tennessee, and just now starting seeing them. I mainly have seen performance models. I did see a Nismo in a rural part of TN with a very small population, I was blown away by that! Hopefully, this is a good sign for the brand.

They're still pretty rare. I've seen only 1 in the wild. And 5 at dealers (including mine) since 2023.

I was at a dealer yesterday having my oil changed. Last time I was there, they had two Zs in the showroom. Yesterday their sole Z was outside, and the brake rotors had a visible rust patina (how long does that take?).

I'm glad to see numbers improving, but this car is still super niche.

I ordered mine from Tennessee and had it delivered to my address. I wanted Biulder Grey and unfortunately only black, yellow and Blue were near me.

I live in Tennessee and had to go to Alabama to find a yellow performance manual. I picked it up on Dec 30 and got a great deal.

A local dealer had a yellow manual with blue interior , they wanted me to consider that instead of ordering a blue one for me.

Love how the truth is just coming out.. there’s such a gap in cars rn in the 30-50k range for an affordable sports car. Nobody can make a 400hp car manual with LSD for less than 50k?
