Passion red was the nicest color in that vid. Looked fantastic. Black looks very good on the car too. But it's a massive PITA to maintain, and as an avid detailer, I would scrutinize my work more closely. Plus it undeniably makes the car super hot in the summer, and it shows off pollen, water spots, and bird dropping rings like a mofo. But, that said... Very nice, very evil.

That silver showed off why I'm not a fan of the colot. It nullified lines. Gunmetals can show off lines a bit better, but bright silvers just don't do it for me. Except the time I was getting my one car done in House of Kolors 3-stage true Kandy red.. I saw the base silver used in that and it looked like a disco ball, and I though about just telling them to clear over that, it was blinding lol. No lines again, just blinding lol.

Interesting that the QC inspector on that Z was wearing a shirt with an Infiniti logo on it.

Yes, QC will hopefully be higher than is typical for Nissan as a result of building the Z at the state of the art Infiniti/GTR plant which looks to be almost fully robotic.

I really hope this mean full on production has started.
Their assembly line has been redone with many more robots than before. The

They make all of the models there on the same assembly line. One car could be a GT-R, the next a Q50, the next a Z.

How many do you recon they can pump out in a week…if they were nit constrained by part supply?

The video is showing assembly of preproduction cars. They wouldn't be sitting there stationary during normal production at all. Tochigi can make around 250,000 vehicles per year if everything was normal.

I wonder if production had just begun? There was a bunch of them on this youtube vid.
