Exactly this. LIGHTING and ANGLES are everything. You can walk 1/4 of the way around the car and it could look a different color depending on how the light hits it. Boulder Gray is really the most extreme example; all of the other colors don't really change as drastically as this color does, even when in direct lighting.Lighting makes a huge difference that’s why anyone buying (such as myself) without viewing is taking a gamble …
The only thing I would say is not to go off just the renders from Nissan's website. Those are pretty far off what the colors look like in real life, which is usually expected as it's just a render.
