1 week with RZ34 performance 6M/T

So yesterday marks a week with my brand new Z, its been a crazy first week considering this is my very FIRST manual car so you can imagine how the first few days went. But needless to say I love the car i got the hang of manual already and am having so much fun. Only real complaint with the car is the transmission is a little funky when going from 3rd to 2nd as second gear is a little notchy. Car feels and drives amazing though.

I ordered the Tomei Dual exit catback just waiting on it. I’ll probably do downpipe intake and tune. Not going to go to crazy on it (which is what everyone always says then they do crazy stuff to it)

You're right, shifting into 2nd can be a bit notchy. I do prefer the shifting quality in my Civic Type R, but the Z is not bad.

Thank you! I am loving manual so far very fun, and yes i fell in love with the color as well has a lot of flake under the sun it's beautiful.

My second gear seems fine. Early on there was a second gear issue. Maybe not fully solved yet?

Not sure, I did read on that but im not sure ik the early model issue was that second gear was grinding, yours doesn't have like a crunchy feel to it? When I downshift into second its like crunchy with resistance.

Upshift and downshift into second are solid (with and without SRM).

I speculated that my car sat in Japan while they worked this out. It was a Dec '22 build that didn't arrive at the dealer until Apr '23.
