yes they do hang low, my 350z Tomei hangs pretty low too, I think its a Z thing tbh.

Not sure, I did read on that but im not sure ik the early model issue was that second gear was grinding, yours doesn't have like a crunchy feel to it? When I downshift into second its like crunchy with resistance.

I ordered the Tomei Dual exit catback just waiting on it. I’ll probably do downpipe intake and tune. Not going to go to crazy on it (which is what everyone always says then they do crazy stuff to it)
