I plan to use it when I get ready to roll my Z down a runway, just as a check to make sure I have as much thrust as possible for take-off. Strapping on a additional jet engine and wings to maintain altitude looks to be a bit of a challenge, though.
The most reliable cars I've owned over the years have been Toyotas. My first new car was a Toyota Celica and my current "work' car is a "glorified" Toyota, an ES350. I traded in a Toyota Avalon for it that had well over 200K very reliable miles on in it. The least reliable car I've owned was a...
"...That doesn’t mean a new Z will arrive in three years, mind you; that’s just when Pandikuthira expects earnest development to begin..."
I won't be surprised if it's well after 2030, if then. Who knows what the state of Nissan will be, from day-to-day, with the way corporations change and...
Agree. Too many of these supposed "ex-spurts" mix apples and oranges. The fun car I had before the Z was a Subaru BRZ and before that it was Fiat 124 Spider. Both were really fun cars as sport cars but neither was one I wanted to travel any distance with on the freeway. Both were extremely...
The NISMO doesn’t have it, the Performance AT doesn't have it? And, yet, my Sport AT does. I look at it right in front of me every time I go for a ride in the Z. Go figure.
LOL. My first change was at around 6 months and the Z only had 1 to 1.5K miles on it. I think I’ll just following a reasonable oil change schedule per the Nissan severe service schedule here on out and leave it at that. I’ve changed oil/ filter every 5k/ 6 months for every vehicle I’ve owned...
Very nice! It's that time of the year. I'm actually doing the opposite. I just scheduled someone to take down some dead pines in my front yard.
Sorry, no pictures of my Z alongside the deceased pines, though. It's safe inside the garage, far away from any potentially falling trees.
I'm not near my Z at the moment so I can't take a look at the knob control but I had an erratic control issue with the volume knob of a Toyota Avalon. What had apparently occurred was just enough of a very small amount of corrosion had happened, thanks to the typical high humidity in my area. I...
In other news.

Although, I believe the above news is probably more relevant for used cars, like Kia’s, and here in Texas, used pickups for the wannabe cowboys, than for fairly rare two doors.
