  1. Is the Z accident prone?

ā€ā€¦ Bring out the Z or my motorcycle, it's now the Hunger Games on my daily commute.ā€ LOL. Yep. My red Z is like waving a red flag to ā€œlet the games beginā€ to all the Mad Max road warriors on the insane streets of Houston.
  2. Fuel rail leakage

ā€ā€¦but I feel like the Z fills this nice niche: huge bang for the buck. I'd be hard pressed not to buy another one if this car just isn't the same afterwards.ā€œ Yes, sir. I hope they get it fixed for good this time. Plus, your Z is that beautiful blue. :)
  3. Is the Z accident prone?

Here’s a recent local tragic example of why you can’t be too careful no matter what you’re driving or where you’re at. If a trucker plows through flashing red and blue lights, what isn’t a possible target? ā€œā€¦.the driver of an industrial 18-wheeler owned by SWI industries of Friendswood plowed...
  4. Is the Z accident prone?

Imagine driving a big rig in the good ā€˜ol U.S. and not understanding English. https://www.fox4news.com/news/texas-cracks-down-truckers-who-cant-speak-english
  5. Fuel rail leakage

Heh… at this point, I’d be seriously wondering if this service department has a clue as to what they’re doing. ;)
  6. Nissan Z’s Twin-Turbo V6 ‘Is Capable of a Lot More Power,’ Nissan Boss Says

The idiot cowboys around here already think they can drive their V8 pseudo horses over any car.
  7. Is the Z accident prone?

Yes, sir. Defensive driving is an absolute necessity. I love motorcycles but with the level of insanity on the roads around this area, I'd have to have an overwhelming death wish to cruise around on a motorcycle.
  8. Nissan Z’s Twin-Turbo V6 ‘Is Capable of a Lot More Power,’ Nissan Boss Says

I like the Z as a RWD GT. If I wanted a 4 wheeler, I'd just get something like the thousands of wannabe cowboys in their 4 wheelers strutting around Houston. It would have to be jacked-up to the point I'd need a ladder to get into it, of course.
  9. Nissan Z’s Twin-Turbo V6 ‘Is Capable of a Lot More Power,’ Nissan Boss Says

LOL. Honestly, 400HP in the Z is more than enough for me, even on the crazy streets of Houston. Most of the idiots driving around here would be in a ditch or worse within a week driving a car like the Z with 500HP or more. You may as well hand them a loaded revolver and have them play Russian...
  10. Is the Z accident prone?

...The world is full of idiots, especially ones that shouldn't hold a driver's license. The only thing we could do is have maximum situational awareness, read the road, and avoid poor drivers... This. I'm convinced too many DMV's just hand out licenses like free candy these days. Plus, so...
  11. Offical Wild Z Sighting Thread

I got a laugh when I had my Sport Z at the local Nissan dealer and one of the service advisors was puzzled why my Z didn’t have a spoiler. He’d never seen a Sport trim at the dealership, just Performance and NISMO’s.
  12. Offical Wild Z Sighting Thread

    Ha! It’s no longer a ā€œvirgin.ā€ ;)
  13. Supra Final Edition, MSRP $150K

ā€œā€¦It's like Nissan rebadging/repaneling Corvettes in Bowling Green and selling them in Japan as GT-Rs. Or Jaguar selling F-Types here in the US as Corvettesā€¦ā€ Ha! Don’t give the suits any ideas. I don’t want to hear Nissan’s next generation Z is a Camaro with a Z badge slapped on it. ;)
  14. News on BIG 2027 Z Production changes for the US

To my eyes, the 240Z is one of the most beautiful cars ever made. At least as a car that was within reach of many ordinary enthusiasts. I was so glad to see Nissan return to a design that has its roots in that classic look. Too bad it took so long for Nissan to get back to it.
  15. News on BIG 2027 Z Production changes for the US

It took the current Z package to attract me. No way just a tan interior alone would have have attracted me for the previous Z look or, for that matter, any car. "Senior Vice President and Chief Planning Officer for Nissan North America, Ponz Pandikuthira, exclusively told The Drive that, ā€œThe...
  16. News on BIG 2027 Z Production changes for the US

Heh, heh, heh. I hear you. I'm very happy with my 2025 red and am staying put. I'm almost glad, though, the green wasn't an option back then. That green with the tan interior will be sick. My 2017 124 Spider was white with tan leather and it was gorgeous..
  17. Ordering a 2026 ?

Interesting. I didn't notice this as an option when I was looking for my Z last year.
  18. Ordering a 2026 ?

Just saw your post. Ditto. ;)
  19. Ordering a 2026 ?

The Corvette is wonderful, but if overall cost-to-own is a consideration, don’t forget such things as insurance. I just have the Z Sport model but my insurance isn’t all that bad for a 400HP twin turbo, and I live in a high cost insurance area. I’m pretty sure I’d be paying quite a bit more for...

Excellent. Shinkai pearl green metallic with the tan leather will be very sharp.
