ā⦠Bring out the Z or my motorcycle, it's now the Hunger Games on my daily commute.ā
LOL. Yep. My red Z is like waving a red flag to ālet the games beginā to all the Mad Max road warriors on the insane streets of Houston.
āā¦but I feel like the Z fills this nice niche: huge bang for the buck. I'd be hard pressed not to buy another one if this car just isn't the same afterwards.ā
Yes, sir. I hope they get it fixed for good this time. Plus, your Z is that beautiful blue. :)
Hereās a recent local tragic example of why you canāt be too careful no matter what youāre driving or where youāre at. If a trucker plows through flashing red and blue lights, what isnāt a possible target?

Imagine driving a big rig in the good āol U.S. and not understanding English.

Yes, sir. Defensive driving is an absolute necessity. I love motorcycles but with the level of insanity on the roads around this area, I'd have to have an overwhelming death wish to cruise around on a motorcycle.
I like the Z as a RWD GT. If I wanted a 4 wheeler, I'd just get something like the thousands of wannabe cowboys in their 4 wheelers strutting around Houston. It would have to be jacked-up to the point I'd need a ladder to get into it, of course.
LOL. Honestly, 400HP in the Z is more than enough for me, even on the crazy streets of Houston. Most of the idiots driving around here would be in a ditch or worse within a week driving a car like the Z with 500HP or more. You may as well hand them a loaded revolver and have them play Russian...
...The world is full of idiots, especially ones that shouldn't hold a driver's license. The only thing we could do is have maximum situational awareness, read the road, and avoid poor drivers...
This. I'm convinced too many DMV's just hand out licenses like free candy these days. Plus, so...
I got a laugh when I had my Sport Z at the local Nissan dealer and one of the service advisors was puzzled why my Z didnāt have a spoiler. Heād never seen a Sport trim at the dealership, just Performance and NISMOās.
āā¦It's like Nissan rebadging/repaneling Corvettes in Bowling Green and selling them in Japan as GT-Rs. Or Jaguar selling F-Types here in the US as Corvettesā¦ā
Ha! Donāt give the suits any ideas. I donāt want to hear Nissanās next generation Z is a Camaro with a Z badge slapped on it. ;)
To my eyes, the 240Z is one of the most beautiful cars ever made. At least as a car that was within reach of many ordinary enthusiasts.
I was so glad to see Nissan return to a design that has its roots in that classic look. Too bad it took so long for Nissan to get back to it.
It took the current Z package to attract me. No way just a tan interior alone would have have attracted me for the previous Z look or, for that matter, any car.
"Senior Vice President and Chief Planning Officer for Nissan North America, Ponz Pandikuthira, exclusively told The Drive that, āThe...
Heh, heh, heh.
I hear you. I'm very happy with my 2025 red and am staying put. I'm almost glad, though, the green wasn't an option back then. That green with the tan interior will be sick. My 2017 124 Spider was white with tan leather and it was gorgeous..
The Corvette is wonderful, but if overall cost-to-own is a consideration, donāt forget such things as insurance. I just have the Z Sport model but my insurance isnāt all that bad for a 400HP twin turbo, and I live in a high cost insurance area. Iām pretty sure Iād be paying quite a bit more for...
