  1. 2027 MT Nismo Z POV

I see this from both sides. Not a lot to compare between the AT and MT NISMOs other than the change in transmission. Same suspension, same brakes, same seats, etc... Driving those back to back is really just about whether you're using your left foot or not. Driving an MT NISMO along with an MT...
  2. Factory tune and drivability "feel"

I'd advise against it. I got one. It sounded cool. But it was sucking in chewing up and spitting out every bird that came within a 50 foot radius. Back on topic, I want to see someone do one of those ridiculously gonzo anti lag tunes on a Z. Not a 'burble tune' or whatever you call that. A...
  3. Offical Wild Z Sighting Thread

I’m at 3. Not quick with the phone, but all three have been coming at me on winding roads so I couldn’t have pulled it off anyway. Gunmetal Perf, @Xylander in his white NISMO and a grey NISMO
  4. Mechanic contanimated coolant

Go see Goober and Gomer at Wally’s. Top-knotch work…as long as your car is pre-1959.
  5. Exhaust note improvement

It could be the design and natural blah-ness of the VR30, but I wonder if it has anything to do with Nissan specifically engineering it to sound like a Dyson vacuum cleaner. Supposedly the death of the GT-R was in large part because of noise regulations. Although that’s always seemed like a...
  6. NISMO Mechanical LSD for RZ34 MT/AT (all models)

Dont know advantages (or disadvantages) without knowing the specs of the OEM diff, 1 way vs 1.5 way and the locking angle(s). Google bot says the OEM is a 1.5 way unit, but it’s not always right, so idk. The NISMO units above are 1.5. If OEM is 1 way, the main advantage is going to a 1.5 with...
  7. NISMO Mechanical LSD for RZ34 MT/AT (all models)

There are a few things I've seen where the price wowed me. - NISMO diff oil cooler and Ti tower bar - HKS exhaust and carbon tower bar - Everything from Top Secret I assume you could get a core, pump, hose, fittings, etc., and make your own diff cooler, but it would be a pain. The NISMO one...
  8. 2027 Z NISMO Already Sold out?

If they knew MT was coming from the start (if sales stayed at or above expectations), it would have been a bad move to announce that from the beginning (2022, 2023, whenever). Those who wanted an AT NISMO would still have purchased. A handful wanting MT wouldn't have waited and bought a...
  9. 2027 Z NISMO Already Sold out?

Just seeing the stuff above about the '27 NISMO front rotors. Do we know if it's LITERALLY THE SAME PART as the GT-R rotor (same Nissan PN), or is there something different, like the rotor's the same, allowing them to say it's "stolen from the GT-R," but the hat is different, etc...
  10. 2027 Z NISMO Already Sold out?

When they don't know the info/answer, a lot of car salesmen and car salesnonmen start spitting out random crap to deflect and avoid seeming clueless. It makes them seem more clueless. Not that it's specific to Nissan, but I'd love to see a poll of all US Nissan sales personnel and the % that can...
  11. Anyone know what the size of the clutch bleeder screw is?

Googlebot says M10x1.0 For the Nissan Z (2023+ and 370Z), the clutch fluid quick bleeder screw, often needed for the concentric slave cylinder (CSC), is typically an M10x1.0 threaded screw, such as the Dorman 12706 quick bleeder or specifically designed Speed Bleeders for Akebono setups. The...
  12. Downpipes & Best Practices

if heat containment is the trick, you should avoid the fancy downpipes, coatings and wrap and make downpipes out of these. They’ll still be hot inside a week after shutting her off.
  13. RZ34 Armytrix Stainless Cat Back Exhaust Ordered!

I assume it's fitment verification. Every time I order tires from Tire Rack they call me after I place the order to make sure what I'm buying will fit, or to confirm verbally that I've told them it will fit.
  14. Z '23 Engine "Misfire"? Intermittent Exhaust Popping at Idle

Had a coil go out on my last 350 so I replaced all 6 coils and plugs. It was a pain as everything's tied up and underneath levels of other stuff. I think I had to remove both upper and lower intake plenum, can't remember. I guess with this one, add intercoolers/piping to the mix. Great work!
  15. Sticky Steering Wheel, Cleaning Tips

Nah man!…just…nah… Add one more reason to the “only buy new” list.
  16. Pop-up hood (popper delete kit) installed with pics

Edited 5/17/26 This was a post about available poppers. They gone! Let me know if you’re interested. With enough interest I’ll grab another batch of parts. $25 shipped, if the costs haven’t change.
  17. Pop-up hood (popper delete kit) installed with pics

I like the fuse design, but IF the system does trigger, I wouldn’t trust the resistors anymore, whether the fuse blows or not. For that price, if it works, it’s worth replacing anyway. I assume it will work fine, but you may need to get a tad creative to make sure the pins stay secure in the...
  18. New Owner, questions for the experts.

The MA Performance are full. They look similar from certain angles. You can tell fulls or uppers by the v-band flange on the turbo end. LDPs have flat bolt flanges on both ends.
  19. Downpipes & Best Practices

I thought of that (stainless vs rust) but there is some validity to that argument. First, there are stainless variants that rust, especially if they get hot. Not to mention that a lot of systems that advertise 304 may not really be 304. Second, fabricators can skimp and use weld filler that...
