Not sure how prevalent it is on later VR30s, but the reason it fails is contaminates jamming the solenoid. The best thing you can do is change your oil regularly.
Today, I learned what Lewis Hamilton learned 5 days ago. Apparently, April Fools Day in Italy is celebrated on May 25th.

Back in the day (early-ā00s) a guy around here drilled a set of 1-piece himself. Didnāt break, but came REALLY close. Never seen rotors that jacked in my life.
Iāve been checking DBA for a while and never got results, until this morning after your post. Got my hopes up, then saw they were 355mm.
Not a web designer, but if they have a selection for the NISMO model/trim, they shouldnāt show results that donāt fit that trim. Rotor diameter, width, center...
DBA has 5000-series for the NISMO? About time!!!
Theyāve had 2-piece for Perf front (355mm) and 1-piece (4000 Series) for the rear (350mm), but I havenāt seen anything for the 380x34NISMO.
They do have 380x34 for the front ā09 GT-R, but it hasnāt been confirmed thatās exact fit on a Z NISMO...
Lining up the hole to get the post centered must have been a little tedious. Looks fantastic! (you detailed this while I was organizing this post)

Donāt know, but itās possible they can preset ride height on models theyāre familiar with (FD, S2K, Miata), but theyāre new to Z stuff. I hope it works out...
Iām going to have to pull the fronts apart to add the cups anyway. Other than the few bucks spent, I donāt see the downside. And Iād prefer to take a little pain up front than gamble and find out they creak/pop.
Leaning Swift sheets. Guessing Iāll need 3 sets - one for the front and one for each...
Not certain of standard price, but I know itās north of $3k, $3,300 maybe.
Make sure the logoās right. Could be a Chinese knockoffā¦āARMYTRIKā :ROFLMAO:
whether itās the Top Secret ones from Nengun or the ones I made, theyāre one time use (or one time pop). A car can send from 1 to 3 amps to actuate them. At 12VDC thatās 12 to 36 watts. Mine are (were, Iām out) 1 watt. And by the looks of the Nengun ones theyāre 2 watt max. Preferably to have...
